About the role

The Teacher Assistant will work closely with classroom teachers to support lesson delivery, manage classroom routines, and provide targeted assistance to individual students and small groups. This role is essential to creating a safe, inclusive, and effective learning environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
  • Provide support to individual students and small groups.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and routines.
  • Prepare instructional materials and resources.

Required profile

  • Relevant experience in an educational setting.
  • Degree or certification in education or a related field.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare, including completion of background checks.
  • Alignment with ISP’s values of inclusion, respect, and continuous learning.

Required skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Patience and ability to work with diverse students.
