Team Head Emerging Markets Investment Advisory

About the role

Lead a high‑performing team of investment advisors focused on high‑net‑worth clients from Emerging Markets while acting as the primary strategic partner for Relationship Managers. Based at the global headquarters in Zürich, you will combine hands‑on client advisory with team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of investment advisors, set performance targets and collaborate on recruitment and succession planning.
• Serve as lead advisor for top‑tier Emerging Market clients, creating culturally attuned investment strategies and conducting portfolio diagnostics.
• Represent the team in client meetings, co‑lead discussions with Relationship Managers and travel regularly to key regional hubs.
• Provide regional market commentary, work with Research and product teams, and contribute to firm‑wide client journey initiatives.
• Oversee trade execution, ensure compliance with MiFID II, and implement robust governance and operational procedures.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field; CFA and/or CAIA highly valued.
• Minimum 12 years of private banking or wealth‑management experience, with proven leadership of investment advisory teams.
• Deep cultural understanding of MENA, APAC and Southern Europe wealth centres and fluency in English plus an additional language (e.g., Chinese, Greek, Arabic) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of all major asset classes, taxation, estate planning and AML regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Bloomberg.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite.
