Tech Lead, Frontend Platform

About the role

As Tech Lead for the Frontend Platform team, you will own the foundation that all frontend engineers build on, guiding the NX monorepo, shared libraries, design system components, and tooling. You will combine hands‑on engineering with team leadership to drive the platform roadmap and ensure coherent growth across applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Frontend Platform team, set technical direction, and manage day‑to‑day delivery while balancing long‑term investments with immediate team needs.
• Own end‑to‑end frontend architecture across the NX monorepo, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and preventing drift as the system scales.
• Treat the platform as a product: gather feedback from frontend teams, manage versioning and safe releases of shared libraries.
• Improve observability, performance monitoring, error tracking, and real‑user monitoring; participate in incident response and root‑cause analysis.
• Drive adoption of AI‑assisted development tools such as Claude Code, establishing workflows and measuring impact.
• Raise development standards: define testing strategy, enhance developer experience, optimize CI/CD, and enforce secure‑by‑default client practices.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and help other Tech Leads elevate their teams.

Required profile

• Strong experience designing and scaling frontend architecture in React, preferably within an NX or similar monorepo supporting multiple applications.
• Proven leadership experience: setting direction, driving a roadmap, and delivering as a hands‑on team lead.
• Solid understanding of frontend observability, performance, and secure development practices.
• Ability to work across team boundaries, balancing platform priorities with the needs of dependent teams.
• Passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge openly.
