Technical Business Analyst – Portfolio Management

About the role

Avaloq is seeking a Technical Business Analyst specialized in Portfolio Management and Rebalancing. You will work closely with regional support, project, and client teams to analyse requirements, design solutions and customise the Avaloq platform.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and design, develop, and implement complex software systems within the Portfolio Management and Rebalancing module.
• Undertake testing activities throughout the development lifecycle to ensure successful release of solutions.
• Participate in client and prospect workshops, explain Avaloq features, evaluate scenarios and recommend optimal business and IT solutions.
• Manage client relationships by providing regular communication and business consulting services.
• Prepare reports and project documentation covering new client requirements, ongoing activities and project status.

Required profile

• Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT or financial services.
• Strong business analysis and development experience in the Portfolio Management domain.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a service‑oriented attitude.
• Experience working within Agile processes.
• Commitment to continuous learning and self‑improvement.

Required skills

• ACCP Certification.
• Avaloq Parameterization experience.
• Portfolio Rebalancing expertise.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL or other programming languages.
