Truck Fleet Supervisor

About the role

MEDLOG, a logistics and supply chain provider present in over 90 countries and part of the MSC Group, is looking for a Truck Fleet Supervisor based in Geneva. You will be responsible for the sustainable and profitable development of MEDLOG's trucking operations worldwide, acting as the driving force behind the trucking strategy and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Cooperate closely with the Area Managers and the M&A Team to explore and develop growth opportunities.
• Optimize road transport programs so that quality and cost targets are met.
• Support and guide local fleet managers in optimizing fleet routing, deploying best-in-class practices and challenging the status quo to maximize fleet utilization.
• Plan truck investments and replacements on time.

Required profile

• Leadership and operational experience of at least 10 years, preferably with logistics providers using both own trucks and subcontractors.
• Ability to lead and connect effectively within a matrix organization.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (a must); French and other languages are an advantage.
• Highly organized, with a problem-solving mindset.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering is a plus.
• EU citizenship or a valid Swiss work permit is required.
