Vice President, Corporate Finance – Healthcare M&A

About the role

Houlihan Lokey’s Healthcare Corporate Finance team in Zurich is seeking a Vice President to lead and execute M&A transactions for middle‑market healthcare clients. The role combines deal execution, client relationship management and mentorship of junior staff within a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute M&A transactions from origination to closing.
• Develop and review detailed financial models and maintain related database systems.
• Coordinate and perform comprehensive business due‑diligence.
• Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches and other client‑facing materials.
• Manage, mentor and develop junior analysts and associates.
• Build and maintain direct relationships with clients, prospective clients and professional advisors.
• Act as the primary client contact on transactions, leading client meetings and contributing to pitch processes.
• Support group marketing and client‑development initiatives.

Required profile

• Fluent in German and English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 6+ years of experience in investment banking or corporate finance, preferably with a focus on healthcare sell‑side mandates.
• Proven end‑to‑end deal execution experience, including closed‑deal track record.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor analysts and associates.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and applied financial theory.
• Strategic mindset, high work ethic, ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
