Website Assistant – Digital Communications (Temporary)

About the role

The International Trade Centre is seeking a part‑time Website Assistant to support its Communications and Events Section. Working under the Public Information Officer (Digital Communications), you will ensure the smooth operation of the website’s Content Management System and assist with content publishing in multiple languages.

Key responsibilities

• Test and quality‑control CMS functionality, report issues and approve technical changes.
• Maintain and update the CMS training manual and provide first‑level support to internal users.
• Implement graphic elements following ITC’s branding guidelines and coordinate design subcontractors.
• Upload and synchronize website content in English, French and Spanish, and manage translation workflows.
• Generate web‑analytics reports, analyse traffic trends and advise on best practices.
• Support administrative tasks related to website management.

Required profile

• Professional understanding of web content and data‑management systems.
• Familiarity with publishing planning, technical and security procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external consultants.

Required skills

• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS).
• Proficiency in JavaScript and HTML.
• Knowledge of Sharepoint or similar platforms.
• Basic web‑analytics tools usage.
