About the role
Join Roche’s Integrated Workforce Strategies Chapter within People & Culture as a Workforce Optimization / Strategies (Data Science) Intern. You will explore how data and technology drive strategic workforce decisions, supporting initiatives in External Workforce, Strategic Workforce Planning and Skills Management.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret workforce data to generate insights for strategic planning.
- Prepare reports and visualisations using R to support decision‑making.
- Contribute to the development and automation of workforce planning methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners in an agile, empowerment‑focused environment.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled in Bachelor or Master studies in economics, business administration, HR Management, STEM or related fields.
- Passion for data science, technology and people strategy.
- Experience (internship or project) in HR or analytics is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset, able to address complex problems and communicate findings in English.
Required skills
- Proficiency in R (including packages such as shinyApp, CRAN, dplyr) or Python.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and familiarity with SQL.
- Experience with PowerPoint or Google Slides for presenting insights.
