About the role
We are seeking a Managing Director to lead our Swiss sales office and oversee all business operations across Switzerland and neighboring markets. The role combines strategic leadership, sales execution, and full‑cycle organisational management for a global machine‑tool manufacturer.
Key responsibilities
- Formulate and execute management strategy and business plans.
- Develop and implement sales strategies for Switzerland and adjacent countries.
- Build and nurture relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Drive market development and promote sales activities in priority regions.
- Oversee the France office and ensure alignment with overall corporate goals.
- Lead organisational management, human‑resource development, and back‑office functions (general affairs, accounting, etc.).
- Monitor financial performance in collaboration with external accounting firms.
- Report regularly to headquarters on performance and strategic initiatives.
Required profile
- Proven sales and business‑management experience in the machine‑tool industry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex organisations.
- Fluent in English, German, and French at a professional level.
- Leadership mindset focused on sustainable business growth.
- Legal right to work in Europe without visa sponsorship.
