Chief Operating Officer – Ultra Luxury Resort & Wellness Destination

About the role

The company, a distinguished ultra‑luxury hospitality group, is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to lead its portfolio of hotels, private wellness destinations and premium guest experiences in Switzerland. The COO will be responsible for day‑to‑day performance across multiple assets while upholding the highest service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of resort operations with full P&L accountability.
• Drive exceptional guest experience standards across all departments.
• Oversee luxury spa and wellness operations, ensuring best‑in‑class service delivery.
• Develop and execute strategic commercial initiatives to maximise performance.
• Inspire, mentor and lead a high‑performing executive leadership team.
• Maintain and elevate the property’s positioning within the global luxury hospitality market.
• Collaborate closely with ownership and senior stakeholders on long‑term business objectives.

Required profile

• Significant experience within ultra‑luxury hospitality.
• Proven multi‑site or cluster leadership in luxury hotels or resorts.
• Previous role as Managing Director, General Manager or Regional leader for internationally recognised luxury brands.
• Strong exposure to spa and wellness operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders and ownership groups.
• Highly commercial with strong financial and operational acumen.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and relationship management capabilities.
• International experience and cultural adaptability; fluency in English required, additional European languages advantageous.
