Communications & Public Affairs Lead

About the role

Adnovum is seeking a seasoned Communications & Public Affairs Lead to act as a strategic partner to the Executive Board. You will shape corporate narratives, strengthen market presence, and position the company as a trusted voice in software engineering, cybersecurity, and digital transformation across Switzerland.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the corporate communications and public affairs strategy.
• Drive thought‑leadership initiatives that raise executive visibility and market influence.
• Build and maintain relationships with Swiss media, industry associations, public institutions and other key stakeholders.
• Advise senior leadership on reputation management, stakeholder engagement and executive positioning.
• Develop and govern corporate narratives, executive communications and brand positioning.
• Manage media relations and secure earned coverage in relevant Swiss outlets.
• Identify and mitigate reputational risks and handle complex communication situations.
• Align communications activities with business priorities and strategic objectives.

Required profile

• University degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Affairs, Political Science, Business Administration or a related field.
• 10‑15 years of experience in corporate communications, public affairs, media relations or journalism.
• Established network of Swiss journalists, editors and media stakeholders with a proven record of generating earned media.
• Demonstrated experience advising executive leadership on communications strategy and reputation management.
• Strong knowledge of the Swiss media, public‑affairs and regulatory landscape, including interaction with industry bodies and public institutions.
• Experience communicating around technology, digital transformation, cybersecurity or professional services.
• Native German, fluent English; French is a strong advantage.
• High integrity, discretion and sound judgment.
