Key Account Manager – German-speaking, Healthcare Sales (Zurich)

About the role
The company, a fast‑growing European digital‑health and med‑tech scale‑up, is looking for a German‑speaking Key Account Manager to lead and expand a strategic distributor in the DACH elderly‑care market. Based in Zurich with a hybrid work model, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, opening new sites and deepening adoption across nursing homes and long‑term care facilities.
Key responsibilities
- Take commercial ownership of a key European distributor and its downstream customers.
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline of nursing homes, care homes and long‑term care groups in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
- Prospect, qualify, conduct meetings, progress deals and close contracts to increase revenue.
- Develop and execute upsell, cross‑sell and site‑expansion strategies to turn the account into a major revenue contributor.
- Lead the distributor on targets, forecasts, joint business plans and quarterly reviews.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholder groups (commercial, clinical, operational) within the distributor and end‑customers.
- Gather market intelligence through field visits, conferences and distributor meetings and feed insights to product, clinical and operations teams.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on pricing, packaging and commercial strategy for the elderly‑care segment.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of quota‑carrying B2B sales or business development experience, preferably with a hunting focus.
- Proven track record selling into healthcare settings such as nursing homes, long‑term care facilities or healthcare distributors.
- Experience managing complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles of 6–12 months.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or a related field.
- Fluent German and strong business English.
- Willingness to be based in Zurich or relocate and travel within the DACH region.
