About the role
The Swiss Society for Sleep Research, Sleep Medicine and Chronobiology (SSSSC) seeks a proactive Administrative Assistant for an initial one-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension. You will support the society’s daily operations, its annual congress, and various certification committees, contributing to the advancement of sleep medicine in Switzerland.
Key responsibilities
- Organise and execute the annual congress for approximately 200 participants.
- Manage office administration and day-to-day business tasks.
- Support the Certificate of Competence in Sleep Medicine committee.
- Assist the annual centre re-certification committee using an online tool.
- Maintain and update the society’s website and member database.
- Handle bookkeeping, prepare annual financial statements, and process invoices.
- Conduct debt collection activities.
Required profile
- Extensive experience in administrative office management.
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken); French is a plus.
- Strong organisational and coordination abilities.
- Independent, responsible, and trustworthy work ethic.
- Initiative, flexibility and resilience.
Required skills
- Proficiency with accounting software.
- Competence in using online tools for data management.
- Book-keeping expertise.
