Art Director

About the role

The Art Director will work with SPORTLUX’s marketing, design and product teams to create compelling visual concepts for the group’s portfolio, primarily focusing on Dickies and Palm Angels. Based in Mendrisio, the role translates strategic objectives into engaging campaigns, collaborations, events and digital content.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the creative direction for brand touch‑points, ensuring visual consistency.
• Conceptualise and execute campaigns for product launches, collaborations and brand activations.
• Create and oversee graphic assets for digital, social, retail, event and commercial tools.
• Guide visual direction for photoshoots, video productions and other brand‑centric content.
• Research emerging fashion, culture, music and digital trends to keep the brand culturally relevant.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Art Director, Graphic Designer or similar role within fashion, streetwear or consumer brands.
• Strong visual culture and aesthetic sensibility with the ability to turn ideas into visual concepts.
• Passion for fashion, culture, design, music and youth communities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects.
• Expertise in graphic design, composition, typography and visual systems.
• Experience with motion graphics, video editing and digital content creation is a plus.
• Photography, shoot direction and audiovisual production experience is a plus.
