Boutique Director - French Speaking, High Jewellery, Geneva

About the role

A recruitment agency is hiring, on behalf of its customer, the High Jewellery brand, a French-speaking Boutique Director for its Geneva boutique. The Director optimises overall sales performance by taking part in sales to reach quantitative and qualitative targets.

Key responsibilities

• Coach a team of around 9 sales associates, identify their development and training needs, and set individual and team goals while assessing and managing performance
• Motivate the team, build a positive and harmonious environment and foster cooperation among team members and managers
• Help the team build long-term client relationships using clienteling tools to deliver a high level of client experience
• Create action plans to boost business and product performance through visual merchandising, clienteling, training and team animation
• Lead by example, support the team's own sales and develop your own client portfolio
• Maximise business opportunities through efficient sales-floor management, a visible presence and adherence to brand standards
• Ensure policies are respected and support the team in daily operations

Required profile

• 7-10 years of experience in jewellery retail as a manager
• Detail-oriented, with strong training, communication, leadership and relational skills
• Passion and high motivation for the luxury environment
• Deep knowledge of clothing and luxury history
• Fluent English and French
