Butler (Live-Out) - Geneva

About the role

An exclusive residence in Geneva is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Butler (Operations) to work live-out. The role oversees the day-to-day operational aspects of the residence, from housekeeping and service to guest reception and inventory, with full-time availability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, including housekeeping and service duties, and coordinate all operational activities within the residence.
• Provide a welcoming experience for guests, including answering the phone and relaying messages when the employer is unavailable.
• Check that the pantry and refrigerator are stocked, control expiration dates, manage cleaning product inventory and carry out restaurant-related inventories.
• Ensure meticulous table setting, provide daily meal service and make purchases on the employer's request in coordination with the House Manager.
• Monitor daily operations, ensure standards and protocols are followed, and conduct regular inspections of housekeeping and service quality.
• Maintain accurate records of operational activities and compile reports on housekeeping and service tasks.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping and service teams, assist with luggage preparation and inform relevant people during trips.
• Use the driving licence for errands and transport, and be flexible with working hours, including weekends.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operational roles, including housekeeping overview and service.
• Bilingual French and English.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
• Driving licence.
