Corn, Sorghum & Cotton Product Manager

About the role

The Corn, Sorghum & Cotton Product Manager – EMEA/APAC leads product marketing, technical positioning, product life‑cycle management and agronomy support for the assigned crops. The role bridges research output, field evidence, farmer needs and commercial strategy to deliver clear portfolio guidance, launch support and practical recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Support regional product portfolio by translating crop strategy, market segmentation and agronomic needs into product priorities.
• Define product positioning across maturity, geography, growing environment and customer segment, focusing on out‑licensing opportunities.
• Build value propositions, launch stories, technical arguments and competitive differentiation for regional and country teams.
• Lead product life‑cycle from concept through launch, growth, maturity and phase‑out, recommending advancement or discontinuation based on performance and profitability.
• Partner with demand, supply chain and licensing teams to manage replacement plans, portfolio simplification and market protection.
• Develop deep understanding of product performance across countries, environments and farming systems using research data, trial results and farmer feedback.
• Act as regional agronomy reference for crop management, stress tolerance, disease sensitivity and end‑use requirements.
• Support trial design, prioritisation and interpretation to generate decision‑useful information.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product marketing and agronomy for major crops such as corn, sorghum or cotton.
• Strong ability to translate research and field evidence into clear product concepts and guidance.
• Experience managing product life‑cycles and coordinating with cross‑functional teams (research, supply chain, licensing).
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret performance data and make strategic recommendations.
