About the role
The Department Manager will lead a team in Hermès’ Lugano store, driving sales, ensuring exceptional customer experience and developing people.
Key responsibilities
- Plan daily activities, set objectives, assign tasks and coach team members on the floor.
- Drive sales targets for the department, develop business strategies and monitor performance indicators.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, performance appraisals and personal development plans.
- Collaborate with store management, operations and visual merchandising to optimise floor coverage and in‑store experience.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in high‑end fashion or luxury retail.
- Fluent in Italian and strong English; additional languages are a plus.
- Proven leadership, resilience and ability to motivate a team in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Excel and other IT tools.
