About the role
You will be responsible for delivering the data that drives the development of next‑generation unmanned flight systems. Working directly with flight test and engineering teams, you will design, build, and maintain the instrumentation that captures real‑time performance data during flight campaigns.
Key responsibilities
- Define data acquisition requirements and design complete flight test instrumentation systems, including hardware, software, telemetry architecture, and sensor integration.
- Install, calibrate, validate, and maintain instrumentation on unmanned aerial platforms, and support on‑site flight test operations.
- Develop and operate telemetry ground stations to provide reliable real‑time flight data.
- Troubleshoot instrumentation issues quickly in fast‑paced test environments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve testing capabilities.
Required profile
- Relevant experience as a Flight Test Instrumentation Engineer or similar role in aerospace.
- Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Willingness to travel internationally to support flight test activities.
- Experience with unmanned systems is highly valued.
