Food & Beverage Manager

About the role

Nestlé Research is looking for a Food & Beverage Manager in Vers-chez-les-Blanc, Switzerland. The role leads a hospitality team of around 25 people and delivers food and beverage experiences for daily operations, VIP visits, conferences, celebrations and other internal and external events. The position is permanent, Monday to Friday, 100%, with a hybrid model (mostly on site, occasional home office), starting in January/February 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a diverse F&B team of about 25 employees, including permanent staff, apprentices, interns and ad-hoc workers.
• Manage all food points and table service, and deliver F&B experiences from concept and proposal to operational set-up and guest experience.
• Create innovative menus and offerings with a focus on local sourcing and trusted supplier partnerships.
• Anticipate food and beverage trends and turn best practice into improved services.
• Collaborate with the Culinary Flagship team, chefs' network, hospitality schools and external partners, using rapid prototyping.
• Ensure quality control, food safety, hygiene and cleaning, and advance the sustainability roadmap by reducing food waste.

Required profile

• Proven food and beverage management experience, a customer-centric mindset and confidence delivering VIP experiences.
• Assertive yet approachable leadership, able to delegate and step into operations when needed.
• Curiosity, innovation and strong organisation.
• Fluent French and English; another language is an advantage.
