About the role
We are seeking an experienced FX Business Developer to join the FX department of a leading brokerage firm. The role focuses on prospecting, lead generation, and building relationships with corporate clients that have foreign‑exchange or interest‑rate exposure. Fluency in both French and English is required to engage a diverse client base.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and target corporate clients (SMEs to large corporates) with FX or interest‑rate exposure.
- Research and map key decision‑makers such as CFOs, Treasurers, and Finance Directors.
- Design and execute outreach campaigns via cold calls, LinkedIn, email, and referrals.
- Maintain a robust pipeline through networking at industry events, conferences, and associations.
- Represent the firm at trade events to raise brand awareness and generate leads.
- Collaborate with structuring and trading teams to deliver bespoke hedging solutions.
- Own the full sales cycle from initial contact to client onboarding.
- Record all activities in the CRM and provide regular reporting on pipeline and conversion metrics.
Required profile
- Superior academic background.
- Experience as an FX Sales Trader or Dealer within a broker, investment bank, corporate bank, or exchange platform.
- Strong interpersonal and sales skills with a proven track record in commodity derivatives sales to corporate clients.
- Customer‑focused mindset and ability to work collaboratively across internal and external stakeholders.
- High compliance ethic and ability to operate within company policies and regulatory requirements.
