Group Head of Tax

About the role

We are seeking a Group Head of Tax to lead the global tax strategy, governance and compliance for BOBST. The role will shape tax policy across more than 50 countries, optimise the tax position and protect the company’s reputation while supporting growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the Group’s global tax strategy, advising senior leadership on tax implications and regulatory developments.
• Ensure robust tax governance and full compliance across all jurisdictions, including risk management, audits and transfer pricing.
• Oversee global tax operations and reporting, guaranteeing accurate filings and driving efficiency through process improvements and digitalisation.
• Partner with business functions to provide tax guidance on commercial initiatives, supply‑chain and financing structures.
• Lead and develop the tax team and manage external advisors to deliver high‑quality, cost‑effective support.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Tax, Finance, Accounting or Law; relevant certifications preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in international industrial environments, preferably with Big‑4 or law‑firm background.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑jurisdictional tax environments in matrix organisations.
• Excellent analytical, influencing and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Experience in project management and cross‑functional coordination (preferred).
