Head of Financial Planning, Analysis and Controlling

About the role

As the Head of Financial Planning, Analysis and Controlling you will be the CFO’s right‑hand, shaping Avaloq’s financial future. You will lead a multi‑country team of more than 20 professionals, driving budgeting, long‑range planning and daily controllership across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop long‑term financial strategies and 3‑5‑year models to support global expansion and capital allocation.
• Conduct sophisticated “what‑if” analyses and risk assessments, providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Define and oversee the financial steering model, driving performance management and reporting.
• Establish budget guidelines, monitor forecasts and implement cost‑control methodologies to improve profitability.
• Lead, coach and scale a diverse team, fostering a collaborative environment and professional development.
• Partner with accounting teams to ensure accurate information flow and enhance financial transparency.
• Collaborate with IT and project teams to modernise ERP systems and financial information tools.

Required profile

• 12+ years of senior finance experience, including at least 5 years in FP&A and 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven ability to set enterprise‑level goals and strategies within complex, multinational environments.
