About the role

The Head of Watches & Jewellery Product Category is the global business owner for the watches and jewellery portfolio across MSC Cruises and Explora Journeys. This senior role defines and executes the worldwide category strategy, drives commercial performance and builds long‑term partnerships with leading luxury brands.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the global watches & jewellery category strategy for MSC Cruises and Explora Journeys.
• Define long‑term vision, monitor market trends and build a balanced portfolio across fine, fashion and luxury segments.
• Drive sales, gross margin and profitability targets through KPI analysis, pricing, promotions and inventory productivity.
• Lead forecasting, assortment planning and product lifecycle management in partnership with demand planning and order management.
• Develop and manage relationships with global watch and jewellery brands, negotiate commercial terms and launch exclusive collections.
• Set merchandising guidelines and collaborate with visual merchandising to ensure brand‑consistent presentation across all vessels.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in retail category management, preferably within luxury watches or jewellery.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting sales and margin objectives.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with retail operations, supply chain, planning and finance teams.
• Excellent strategic thinking, market insight and partnership development skills.
