HR Business Partner – Talent & Employee Relations

About the role

HR Business Partner role supporting managers across strategic and operational HR matters, with a focus on talent development, employee relations, recruitment, performance management and organisational change. The position is based in Sierre, Valais and works on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and support managers on strategic and operational HR matters.
• Develop talent management, succession and employee development initiatives.
• Identify skills development needs and support career development plans.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and employee retention processes.
• Manage employee relations and complex HR situations.
• Ensure compliance with Swiss employment law and internal HR policies.
• Support organisational transformation and change management initiatives.
• Coordinate annual HR processes including performance reviews, development discussions and talent reviews.

Required profile

• Higher education or professional qualification in Human Resources, such as a Swiss HR Specialist Federal Diploma.
• Proven experience in an HR Business Partner role.
• Strong experience advising managers and managing employee relations.
• Excellent knowledge of Swiss employment law and HR practices.
• Fluent in French and English; German is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Professional, discreet and pragmatic approach to complex situations.
• Autonomous, organised and commercially aware.
