International Traineeship – Key Account Manager (UK/Ireland)

About the role

Sika AG is launching its 2026 International Traineeship Program, a 12‑month paid rotation based in Widen, Switzerland. The programme prepares early‑career professionals for a permanent Key Account Manager position in the UK or Ireland, focusing on industrial markets such as transportation, renewable energy and production line construction.

Key responsibilities

• Learn Sika’s product portfolio, including flooring systems, adhesives, sealants and composite solutions.
• Support Key Account Managers with customer proposals, project execution and technical demonstrations.
• Participate in customer meetings, develop pricing, forecasting and opportunity management using Salesforce.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with product management, marketing, customer service and technical teams.

Required profile

• Degree in engineering, material science, chemistry or a related technical discipline.
• Early‑career experience (internships, placements or graduate roles) in sales, technical support or industrial markets is a plus.
• Strong communication, analytical mindset and willingness to relocate from Switzerland to the UK or Ireland.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools, specifically Salesforce.
