Junior Regulatory Reporting Specialist (Full-time)

About the role

As a Junior Regulatory Reporting Specialist you will support the monthly preparation of regulatory reports for Julius Baer Bank and the Group. The role is primarily focused on operational reporting tasks while also offering the chance to contribute to project‑related activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the monthly preparation of regulatory reports for Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd. and Julius Baer Group Ltd.
• Perform reconciliations and quality checks of financial data for submission to SNB and FINMA, including capital and liquidity calculations.
• Prepare ad‑hoc analyses, special reports and narrative commentary.
• Support the preparation of Basel III Pillar 3 disclosure reports.
• Document closing processes, primarily in English, and provide specialist reporting support to international locations.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with internal controls.
• Support functional specifications and testing of the Axiom regulatory reporting application.
• Assist in implementing new regulatory requirements for SNB statistical, capital adequacy and liquidity reporting.
• Analyse and continuously optimise existing reporting processes.

Required profile

• Education in finance or business administration.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in bank accounting.
• Understanding of SNB statistical reporting is an advantage.
• Very good written and spoken English; German fluency is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with an independent, precise working style.
• Team‑oriented, resilient and flexible.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with the AxiomSL regulatory reporting platform (beneficial).
