About the role
LEO Pharma is seeking a Key Account Manager to drive sales performance in the Zurich canton. You will build and maintain long‑term relationships with high‑potential hospitals and private‑practice healthcare professionals, promoting our biological, topical PAN‑JAK and established dermatology therapies.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales plans to exceed targets in the assigned territory.
- Establish strong relationships with HCPs, including hospital pharmacists, in hospitals and private practices.
- Use a customer‑relationship‑management approach to gather insights on customer needs and expectations.
- Provide clinical knowledge, anticipate market changes, and differentiate product value propositions.
- Continuously collect market intelligence and share it with internal teams.
- Create Key Account Plans together with Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) and marketing, with measurable objectives.
- Collaborate with MSL and marketing to address customer needs in a win‑win manner.
Required profile
- Degree in natural sciences or a paramedical background, plus an SHQA certificate.
- Several years of field service experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- In‑depth knowledge of the Swiss pharmaceutical market, distribution channels and healthcare sector.
- Dermatology knowledge and an existing key‑account network are a plus.
- Strong customer‑engagement, scientific data handling and negotiation abilities.
- Experience in multichannel plan setting, patient‑journey mapping and high‑value medicine environments.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
