Lead IT FAR Solution Architect (80-100%)

About the role

Zurich Insurance Group is reshaping its end‑to‑end Financial Accounting & Reporting (FAR) landscape. As Lead IT FAR Solution Architect you will own the solution architecture across the full reporting chain, from Finance Hub through SAP FICO, GRDC consolidation, SAP Group Reporting and Disclosure Management, while shaping the next‑generation analytical platform on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own the end‑to‑end architecture from Finance Hub ingestion to Disclosure Management.
• Lead solution design for GR/GRDC consolidation flows and upstream SAP FICO dependencies.
• Architect the Finance Hub integration layer and the connection to Disclosure Management.
• Shape BDC / Data Sphere as the analytical and automation platform alongside SAP core on AWS.
• Partner with central finance functions and business units to accelerate the financial close cycle.
• Govern tooling, ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, data governance and security policies.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in IT solution architecture or senior SAP technical consulting.
• Deep hands‑on expertise in SAP FICO; experience with SAP Group Reporting (S/4HANA) and GRDC is a strong advantage.
• Understanding of the full FAR chain – Finance Hub, FICO close, GRDC roll‑ups, GR and Disclosure Management.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
