Legal Intern/Trainee Lawyer (Substitut)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Legal Intern/Trainee Lawyer (Substitut) to support our team across a wide range of legal matters. This internship provides hands‑on experience in a dynamic environment, working closely with lawyers and partners on Swiss and international issues.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis on Swiss and international legal issues.
• Draft and review legal memoranda, internal summaries, and case notes.
• Assist in preparing client presentations, legal documentation, and contracts.
• Support attorneys in ongoing cases, transactions, and regulatory matters.
• Help ensure compliance with internal legal and administrative procedures.
• Attend internal meetings and legal briefings, providing administrative and organizational support as needed.

Required profile

• Recently completed a Bachelor or Master of Law (MLaw) degree with a GPA of 5.5 or higher on the Swiss 6.0 scale.
• Demonstrated interest in business law, litigation, or international legal matters.
• Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and communication skills.
• A proactive, can‑do attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast‑paced, high‑performing team.
