Major Account Executive – Alps (French Speaker)

About the role

GitLab is looking for a Major Account Executive to lead strategic sales in the Alpine region (Austria & Switzerland). You will own a portfolio of enterprise customers, helping them adopt GitLab’s AI‑powered DevSecOps platform and expand usage across their organizations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow major accounts, driving end‑to‑end sales cycles from prospecting to long‑term expansion.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, Professional Services, Marketing, executives, partners and channel teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Apply solution‑selling expertise to address customer needs and uncover new business opportunities.
• Develop deep knowledge of each customer’s performance metrics, business goals and industry landscape.
• Conduct win/loss analysis, share insights with internal teams, and feed customer feedback into GitLab’s product roadmap.

Required profile

• Fluent French speaker with strong communication skills in English.
• Proven experience managing enterprise accounts and executing consultative sales strategies.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with technical and partner teams.
• Strong analytical mindset for root‑cause analysis and strategic planning.
