Partner & Head of Capital Markets

About the role

Lindemann Law seeks a Partner & Head of Capital Markets to lead and expand its capital markets practice in Zurich. The role involves overseeing equity, debt and hybrid transactions and positioning the firm as a trusted advisor for high‑profile entrepreneurs and investors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead structuring and execution of IPOs, rights offerings, private placements, bond issuances, convertible instruments and structured products.
• Advise clients on legal and regulatory issues related to capital raising, listing procedures, disclosure obligations and corporate governance.
• Ensure compliance with Swiss and international regulations such as FinSA, FinIA, MAR and EU Prospectus Regulation.
• Draft, review and negotiate transaction documentation including prospectuses, offering memoranda and underwriting agreements.
• Manage relationships with regulators, stock exchanges, underwriters and other stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Drive new business development, cross‑selling opportunities and represent the firm at industry conferences.

Required profile

• Swiss bar admission with first‑class qualification and excellent academic credentials (Master’s/PhD in law).
• 10+ years of experience as a lawyer, preferably in a partner role or senior in‑house position within a bank or asset‑management firm.
• Established client network and ability to attract new mandates.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with proven leadership and team‑building capabilities.
• High level of integrity, discretion and client‑first mentality.

Required skills

• Swiss bar admission.
• Fluent English and German (additional French or Italian is a plus).
• Strong analytical and cognitive skills for complex capital‑markets transactions.
