Product Manager, SMA

About the role

The Product Manager, SMA supports the development and execution of global marketing initiatives for a specific product and disease area. The role translates brand strategy into tactical plans and ensures successful implementation of campaigns, content, congress activities, and customer engagement programs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated marketing tactics, campaigns, and content programs aligned to brand objectives.
• Lead agency partners and cross‑functional stakeholders to create, review, and deploy marketing materials and campaign assets.
• Support brand planning through customer insights, market intelligence, competitive analysis, and performance tracking.
• Manage congress planning, external stakeholder engagement, promotional review processes, and asset deployment across markets.
• Oversee project budgets, agency spend, statements of work, timelines, KPIs, and campaign performance reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required; degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences or related field preferred.
• 6‑9 years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology or healthcare commercial experience, including prior pharmaceutical marketing.
• Experience leading tactical marketing initiatives, managing agencies and external vendors.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management and ability to work in matrix organizations.
• Fluent written and spoken English; additional language capabilities advantageous.
