Risk Manager - Private Banking

About the role

Mirabaud is looking for a Risk Manager to join its Risk Control team within the Wealth Management line of business. The role covers the second line of defence for financial risks, covering market, liquidity and credit risk across private banking activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and execute second-line-of-defence controls for financial risks
• Monitor, analyse and report on market, liquidity and credit risk exposures, including complex derivative positions
• Contribute to risk analysis and monitoring tools for the Bank and Group
• Design and enhance risk models, stress-testing methodologies and limit frameworks aligned with risk appetite
• Keep risk practices aligned with evolving financial regulations, including regulatory interest rate risk reports and stress tests
• Assess financial counterparties and monitor their limits, and define and control securities loan-to-value (LTV) limits for Lombard loans
• Ensure risk monitoring and reporting for the Bank and Group, and promote a risk culture

Required profile

• Master's degree in Economics, Finance or equivalent
• Financial Risk Manager certification is an asset
• At least 7 years of risk management experience, preferably in private banking, wealth management or asset management
• Very good knowledge of FINMA/Basel regulations
• Fluent French and English; another language is an asset
• Analytical mindset, methodical, accurate and stress-resistant, with strong interpersonal skills
