Senior Anti Financial Crime Officer

About the role

Support the Private Bank Business Line AFC team in Switzerland, acting as the main point of contact for anti‑financial crime queries and ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with KYC, account opening and risk scoring models, reviewing and signing off client reviews.
• Assess high‑risk client escalations, document rationale and drive remediation actions.
• Provide advice on AFC/AML policies, support audit readiness and deliver training to 1LoD stakeholders.
• Contribute to risk assessments for new products, transactions and system implementations as a subject‑matter expert.

Required profile

• At least 7 years of experience in Swiss banking with strong anti‑financial crime, AML, sanctions and fraud expertise.
• Degree in law, economics or equivalent professional qualification.
• Fluent in English (working language) with German and French as assets.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills, able to work independently under pressure.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of MS Office programs.
• Familiarity with FINMA, FATF, Wolfsberg and other AML regulations.
