Senior Business Analyst – Reporting & MIS for Private Banking

About the role

As a Senior/Principal Consultant you will lead the functional design and evolution of modern Management Reporting and Management Information Systems for private banking and related financial lines. Acting as a Business Functional Analyst, you will bridge Business, Data and IT to translate banking KPIs and requirements into sustainable reporting solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise local and international banks on developing and enhancing MIS and reporting landscapes.
• Take functional ownership as a Business Functional Analyst across Business, Data and IT domains.
• Define, harmonise and further develop banking KPIs for retail, corporate, private banking, wealth and asset management.
• Translate complex business requirements into functional concepts, reporting logic and specifications.
• Analyse and optimise reporting processes and data journeys across the reporting value chain.
• Lead workshops with business divisions and senior stakeholders and support testing, KPI validation and implementation of new solutions.

Required profile

• 5–6+ years of experience in consulting or a business function within a private bank.
• Strong background in reporting and Management Information Systems.
• In‑depth knowledge of products and processes across retail, corporate, private banking, wealth and asset management.
• Experience as a Business or Functional Analyst on regulatory or transformation projects.
• Fluency in German and English, with proven stakeholder‑management skills at senior level.
