(Senior) Consultant - Business Consulting, Financial Services Regulatory

About the role

EY's Business Consulting team in Zurich is looking for a Consultant or Senior Consultant to work on strategic transformation programmes for clients in banking, insurance and asset management. The focus is on helping organisations adapt to evolving regulatory requirements and improve their business and technology processes. The role suits graduates and professionals with up to 5 years of experience in consulting, project management or financial services, including those with limited exposure to regulatory transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Support or lead transformation projects on regulatory change, operational improvement or compliance for financial services organisations in Switzerland
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical business and technology solutions
• Analyse organisational structures, processes and data to identify optimisation levers for a sustainable, regulatory-compliant operating model
• Work with compliance, risk, finance and IT stakeholders to gather and document business needs
• Contribute to designing and implementing target operating models and process improvements
• Apply EY methodologies and tools to deliver projects efficiently
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to client stakeholders
• Support business development, including proposal writing and client presentations

Required profile

• University or university of applied sciences degree in business management, (business) IT, economics or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus
• Experience or strong interest in consulting, financial services, financial regulation and project management, with a willingness to develop expertise in this area
• Fluency in English; C1 German, Swiss German or another language is a plus
