About the role
Join us as a Senior Finance Analyst and take ownership of the financial review and analysis for Johnson Electric. In this highly visible role you will go beyond the numbers, challenge results, uncover key business drivers and turn financial data into meaningful insights.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the monthly P&L review, analysing variances against budget, forecast and prior year and provide clear explanations.
- Review the monthly balance sheet and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution.
- Oversee provisions, accruals, intercompany balances, AP/AR and fixed‑asset reconciliations.
- Prepare financial analysis and management commentary for European Finance Leadership.
- Compute annual and interim corporate income tax (CIT), tax provisions and deferred tax, and coordinate with external tax advisors.
- Manage the Swiss statutory reporting calendar, including filings to the Swiss National Bank.
- Support preparation of Swiss statutory financial statements and reconciliation to Group IFRS reporting.
- Coordinate external audit activities, prepare PBC lists and track audit findings to closure.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; CPA is a plus.
- More than 7 years of experience in accounting, controlling or financial analysis, preferably in an international manufacturing group.
- Strong knowledge of month‑end close, financial statement analysis, Swiss statutory accounting, tax and IFRS Group reporting.
- Analytical, data‑driven mindset with ability to challenge numbers and manage financial risks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, fluent in English; French or German advantageous.
