Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

Join Johnson Electric as a Senior Finance Analyst and take ownership of financial review and analysis across the organization. You will work closely with the Shared Service Centre and European Finance Leadership to ensure accurate, compliant financial information that supports strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly P&L review, analysing variances against budget, forecast and prior year and provide clear commentary.
• Review balance‑sheet reconciliations, resolve outstanding items and oversee provisions, accruals, intercompany balances, AP/AR and fixed‑asset reconciliations.
• Prepare financial analysis and management commentary for European Finance Leadership.
• Compute annual and interim corporate income tax (CIT), including provisions, deferred tax and supporting reconciliations.
• Manage the Swiss statutory reporting calendar, including filings to the Swiss National Bank.
• Coordinate external audit activities, prepare PBC lists and track audit findings.
• Collaborate with the Shared Service Centre in Hatvan and act as entity‑side reviewer of SSC deliverables.
• Contribute to automation and reporting improvements using Power BI, Excel automation and AI tools.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; CPA qualification is a plus.
• More than 7 years of experience in accounting, controlling or financial analysis, preferably in an international manufacturing group.
• Strong knowledge of month‑end close, Swiss statutory accounting, tax and IFRS Group reporting.
• Analytical, data‑driven mindset with ability to challenge numbers and manage financial risks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills in an international environment.
