Senior Finance Manager – 12‑Month Contract

About the role

The Senior Finance Manager will join the Group Finance Accounting, Data & Reporting team, reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting and Regulatory Reporting Solutions. This 12‑month contract role is focused on ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial data and reporting for a large banking group.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in finance‑related projects, including process improvements, system enhancements, and implementation of new regulatory requirements.
• Oversee daily financial operations such as data maintenance, reconciliations, and operational controls to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and deliver financial, regulatory, and management reports in line with internal policies and external standards.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Data & Reporting, Finance, Risk, and IT teams to gather requirements, resolve issues, and optimise processes.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to queries, and implementing recommendations.
• Maintain the Internal Control System (ICS) to ensure adherence to policies and regulations.
• Contribute to the development and documentation of finance processes and procedures.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance or equivalent.
• At least ten years of experience in the banking industry within a finance department or external audit.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and banking regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a track record of managing financial operations, controls, and reporting processes.
• Proactive, adaptable, autonomous, curious and a can‑do attitude.
