Senior HR Business Partner – Private Banking & Investment

About the role

The Senior HR Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across private banking, relationship management and investment teams. You will translate business priorities into people solutions that strengthen talent pipelines, leadership capability and organisational effectiveness while ensuring a high‑quality employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to shape organisational design, workforce planning, team effectiveness and leadership development.
• Lead talent reviews, succession planning and targeted market mapping for critical roles.
• Own end‑to‑end recruitment processes, from business brief to onboarding, and manage relationships with executive search partners.
• Provide hands‑on support on complex employee‑relations matters, restructurings, performance management and organisational change, ensuring compliance with Swiss employment law.
• Collaborate with HR specialists (compensation, payroll, learning, HR operations) to deliver integrated HR services and maintain high‑quality employee data in the HR platform.

Required profile

• 8+ years progressive HR experience, including senior HR Business Partner or Generalist roles in financial services.
• Proven experience supporting client‑facing banking or investment businesses (private banking, wealth management, asset management).
• Strong knowledge of Swiss employment law and regulatory expectations of a financial institution.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology or related field; Swiss HR qualification (HRSE) or equivalent preferred.
• Native French speaker with high proficiency in English; German language skills are an asset.
