About the role

A Swiss-based mandate covering the Italian market, based in Zurich, Geneva or Lugano depending on the candidate's preference and the bank's team structure. The hiring bank has a well-established Italian client franchise and wants a senior relationship manager who personally owns Italian HNW and UHNW relationships. This is not a greenfield mandate: infrastructure, booking centre and product access are already in place.

Required profile

Most of the private banking career spent managing Italian clients from a Swiss platform
Understanding of the cross-border regulatory framework on both sides
Operates at the level of succession planning, real estate structuring and multi-generational family wealth, rather than pure investment allocation
Holds relationships in their own name rather than through a team structure
Minimum threshold: a three-year average portable book of CHF 200M from Italian clients
Lugano suits bankers with strong ties to the Northern Italian corridor; Geneva and Zurich suit those with a broader Italian UHNW offshore client base
