Service Technician – Glarnerland/Rheintal Region

About the role

As a Service Technician you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and commissioning industrial compressors for customers in Eastern Switzerland. You will work independently, travelling from your home base to various customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and servicing on industrial compressors and related equipment.
• Carry out repairs, overhauls and refurbishments.
• Commission new machines and participate in on‑call service standby duties.
• Identify additional customer needs and advise on service solutions, consumables and new equipment.
• Document observations and forward relevant information to internal departments.

Required profile

• Technical vocational qualification (e.g., Polymechanic, Mechatronics Technician, Automation Technician or similar).
• Valid Category B driving licence.
• Confidence using digital service and reporting tools and standard Microsoft Office applications.
• Very good German language skills (C1/C2).
• Open‑minded, solution‑oriented personality with strong customer focus.
