Talent Acquisition Specialist – Global Recruitment

About the role

You will join CERN’s multicultural Talent Acquisition team of around 20 colleagues, supporting the recruitment of scientists, engineers and support staff for the world’s leading particle‑physics laboratory. The role focuses on delivering inclusive, high‑volume hiring while advancing diversity goals across gender, nationality and career stage.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and stakeholder groups to translate recruitment needs into market‑ready job ads and attraction strategies.
• Facilitate fair, transparent and inclusive selection processes from sourcing to offer and onboarding.
• Build and nurture talent communities and contribute to employer‑branding initiatives on social media and at events.
• Support the design of future recruitment processes for students and graduates.
• Analyse internal and external HR data to inform decision‑making and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven end‑to‑end recruitment experience within an in‑house, preferably international, environment.
• Demonstrated ability to source and engage talent across diverse roles.
• Experience with employer‑branding, social‑media outreach and talent‑community building.
