Assistant Floor Supervisor / Housekeeping Assistant (m/f/d)

About the role

The Kulm Group, a luxury mountain travel operator, is looking for an Assistant Floor Supervisor / Housekeeping Assistant to join its team at 1,800 m altitude. The role covers daily quality checks of guest rooms, training of housekeeping staff, support during peak times, plant care, guest relations and material care.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and check daily that guest rooms, residence apartments and staff quarters meet the Kulm Quality Standards, Swiss Deluxe Hotels and Leading Hotels of the World standards.
• Train and develop the housekeeping team.
• Provide hands-on support on the floors and in the residences during peak periods and as a relief.
• Oversee the care of orchids and floor plants.
• Attend to guests personally, especially regular guests, and ensure they feel at home.
• Ensure proper handling of machines, furnishings, equipment and cleaning agents.
• Follow cleaning regulations for materials and maintain discretion regarding guests and the hotel.
• Create maintenance lists and carry out inventories together with the housekeeping manager.

Required profile

• Solid professional experience in a similar position, or several years as a room attendant in luxury hotels.
• Excellent German and English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Attention to detail, ability to prioritise and a natural leadership attitude.
