Brand Designer / Art Director

About the role

International Brands, a fast‑growing Swiss personal‑care and FMCG company, is looking for a full‑time Art Director who will act as the creative mind behind its brand powerhouse. The role goes beyond traditional design, requiring ownership of packaging, brand worlds and every visual detail that drives shelf impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute creative concepts across all brands with a focus on visibility, recognition and market performance.
• Design packaging that captures attention, aligns with brand identity and converts at the shelf.
• Create web, social and marketing assets that prioritize performance over pure aesthetics.
• Turn ideas into market‑ready products quickly, leveraging AI and modern tools to streamline workflows.
• Lead projects from concept to finished market product, managing freelancers and external partners.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Brands and broader team, ensuring a consistent visual identity.

Required profile

• 2–5+ years of experience in design, art direction or a similar creative role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating real FMCG or retail work and proven execution.
• Deep understanding of FMCG design, retail environments and consumer behavior.
• Hands‑on, fast‑moving, solution‑oriented attitude with a willingness to take ownership.
• Fluent in German and English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Figma for UI and web design.
• Experience using AI‑assisted design tools to improve speed and output.
