Business and Financial Analyst Intern – January 2027

About the role

CHANEL is looking for a Business and Financial Analyst Intern to join its Global Travel Retail Team in Geneva, starting 4 January 2027. Within the Business Analytics team, the intern contributes to coordinating, consolidating and analysing the business activity and financial performance of global travel retail, producing monthly reports and building new performance analyses. The internship is full-time, in person, five days a week, for six months.

Key responsibilities

• Business reporting: elaborate the monthly report on global travel retail performance and carry out ad hoc analysis on management request.
• Financial analysis: help build transversal financial analyses such as dedicated P&L, analyse and challenge relevant KPIs, follow up the financial results of industry key players.
• Data management: maintain partnerships with travel retail data providers, consolidate internal data with regional teams, ensure data integrity, validate data for accuracy and completeness, and help develop new reporting tools with IT teams.
• Support and collaboration: assist the Global Travel Team on functional budget monitoring, support the Business Analytics team in daily operations, and respond to ad hoc analysis requests from colleagues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a business school or university; a major in Finance is a plus.
• Proven experience in financial or business analysis or a similar role; experience in the luxury and/or travel retail industry is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with fluent written and spoken English, as international counterparts will be involved.
• Fluent in French and English.
• An internship agreement is mandatory, and the internship must be part of the study programme, required for the degree and validated by academic credits.
