Director of Hospitality Operations

About the role

The Director of Hospitality Operations leads, performs and executes all hospitality operations across the organisation, with full accountability for the client experience, operational standards, team performance, property readiness and service delivery. The role is highly visible and hands-on, staying close to day-to-day operations and reporting directly to the Chief Hospitality Officer.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire Hospitality Operations function, keeping daily operations, occupancy, arrivals, departures, guest itineraries and service appointments under control
• Oversee the client journey, anticipate client needs and regularly review service standards
• Lead, coach and develop the team through one-to-one meetings, performance reviews and succession planning
• Inspect villas and properties, work with Facilities and Maintenance on preventive maintenance, and coordinate Housekeeping, Concierge and Facilities
• Work with the Head of Culinary Experience, Head of Transportation and Medical Operations to align services with client expectations
• Manage operational budgets, work with Procurement on purchasing and inventory, and drive continuous improvement of procedures and standards

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in luxury hospitality, private estates, ultra-luxury resorts or high-end residential operations
• Strong operational expertise across guest services, housekeeping, concierge, food and beverage, facilities and transportation
• Ability to lead large teams while staying involved in daily operations
• Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, highly personalised client environment
