Procurement Category Manager – Sustainability Services

About the role

As a Procurement Category Manager for Sustainability Services at Nespresso, you will develop and implement global sourcing strategies for indirect materials, manage supplier relationships and drive value while reducing operational risk.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong partnerships with stakeholders across markets to create shared value.
• Lead sourcing activities from requirement analysis through RFPs and supplier selection, aligned with category strategies.
• Conduct category, supplier market and risk analyses to optimise total cost of ownership.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure supply and achieve best‑TCO outcomes.
• Manage supplier risk, business continuity planning and sustainability‑focused partnerships.
• Integrate supplier innovation, monitor KPIs and provide performance reporting.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain or Natural Sciences.
• Solid experience in procurement or category management in an international context.
• Experience with sustainability‑related services such as recycling, waste management or circular economy is an advantage.
• Strong project‑management mindset and ability to drive multi‑country initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
